Our Practice Policy: Please complete and return the intake /parent questionnaire form before your initial visit. Your information regarding your child's birth, developmental milestones, family life, speech and language development, behavioral issues, and your child's interests are important to us. Providing as much information about your child and his/her needs helps us to work together to develop and form appropriate therapeutic goals.

Evaluation and assessment: Formal and informal assessments are provided with the presence of parents. Formal test batteries are typically carried out in a structured format. We provide scores and objective results.

Informal assessments include: observations, specific norm standardized forms to record and compare with typical development, videotaping (with your permission), and language sample collections.

Per your permission, we may ask you to consult with your referring physician, or another specialist after the evaluation is completed. Following the evaluation, we provide written reports.

Therapy: After completing the evaluation and assessment, we discuss therapy goals and plans with you. We decide the frequency of your clinic visits and application of the home program if necessary.

You are the most important factor in your child's therapy. We value your presence in our sessions in order to carryover the skills your child learns in therapy to home.
